This game was created for the Safe In Our World Mental Health Game Dev Champions 2024 jam. Little Captain, First Mate follows the close bond of two siblings and the special memories they shared together. Little Captain uses his vivid imagination to live out the fantastical adventures they'd go on together as pirates, from family days out at the seaside to playing in their back garden. The game explores the complexities of grief and how it can feel to revisit happy times through this lens.
