Mia Sugunasingha

Mia is a freelance composer who started composing for film and video games whilst studying abroad at San Francisco State University. During her final year studying music at the University of Birmingham, she composed the soundtrack for a short film and podcast as part of her placement with Bertz Associates. Since graduating in 2023, Mia has continued to work with Bertz Associates as a freelance composer, scoring and doing post-production sound engineering/sound design for 2 documentary film projects and a new podcast.

Currently, Mia is using online resources to learn Wwise and FMOD, as well as participating in monthly game jams and working on her own personal projects to develop her compositional skills.
